El Camion Taco Truck by Robyn Wolfe, Marketing

Running around to buy paper from the Paper Zone, I came across the El Camión taco truck, so of course I stopped for tacos.  The South Seattle location has a gravelled fenced-in parking lot with plenty of parking. There’s a cute little covered area for sitting with a shaded picnic table and even a foosball machine!  I chose carne asada and carnitas from the pretty extensive menu that included tacos, burritos, gorditas, tamales, quesadillas and more.  Also there are good salsas- mild, medium, hot, and smoking!  My favorite thing is the big jar of pickled vegetables on the counter with whole jalapenos, juniper berries, sliced onions, tomatillos… so authentically Mexican!

I love El Camion. Tried it last year and am hooked. The greatest thing in Mexican
food since I lived in southern California.

I love the salsas. The fresh tamales are the real deal.

I know – I’m hooked too! I’m afraid it will become a weekly outing
for me, but there are worse habits, right???
